In outdoor applications, water can accumulate on top of CTP and trigger false touches, to avoid those false touches, our engineers use the latest CTP technology features water repellent surface treatment and a firmware algorithm to differentiate an actual touch from waterflow, these new technologies ensure that the product can work properly in any environment, and suggested be used together with AF Coating, Atmel CTP driver,EETI CTP driver.
In public places or some special application places, explosion-proof and anti-impact are specific requirements, so thick Cover glass is needed to enhance the protection of Display from damage. We provide tempered cover glass touch solution of thickness 2.0mm,2.85mm,4.0mm ect, up to 10mm thickness. In order to get better touch effect, we will use Hycon,Ilitek, EETI, Atmel touch solutions, it can achieve the touch of thick cover glass.
In outdoor, medical, industrial or special applications，touch displays are used in harsh environments, gloves are always required, so it is important that touch displays support glove mode. There are many different types of gloves, from simple ones such as medical latex gloves to thicker rubber and cotton gloves, we will adjust firmware algorithm to differentiate an actual touch for different types of gloves, We generally select Ilitek, EETI touch driver IC.
The LCD Display has almost no color difference with the display visual area when the backlight is turned off.
